Jheel Pe jaise-Lucky Ali

Jheel pe jaise naav chale aahistha aahistha
Baadal mein aise yeh chaand chipey
Kehne ko hai yeh bhi chehra

*People in life abscond the way moon fades away behind cloud.....

Chod aaye pichey hum kisko kahan
Unko khabar hai ki hum hai yahan
Aaye baharon mein mehkaayi raah
Phir milney aayenge kya

* Those people are the past. They know where I am and I know where they are. Will they meet me again?

Bas thodi doori yeh raastha kahe
Rukney lagey, phir chal diye
Jab woh hamey yun dilaatey hai vaastha vaastha
Rishte hum aise nibhaatey hai
Raat se jaise koi subah

* I'm running hard to see those people back in my life. I always prefer relations over material....

Ab hai nazar mein ek aisa samaa
Lekar ho aayenge tum ko yahan
Anjaan rahon ke anjaan rahi
Jaaye tho jaaye kahan

* I know I will bring them back.

Tum ho salaamat yeh dil yun kahe
Chaahe miley ya na miley
Door se jo bulaayenge, aaja na aaja na
Chaahe savaari bhi na miley
Ho sakey to chalkey aana

* I always have only and only good wishes for you...

in search of answers!

There is a storm in my heart
It tears my inside apart
I am bleeding and I am hurt
Like a wingless little bird

Then it turns dark
And for a moment I see
The pain that was inside of me
And on a journey I embark

In search of answers
In search of truth
In search of understanding
In search of you

My guiding star in darkness
Like a little stream in the desert
Everything about you seems flawless
But that is what causes the hurt

Your perfect features do not belong to me
You do not deserve my chains
You need to live and see
What it means to be free

So spread your wings and fly away
For I can not fulfill your dream
But if you should fall one day
I'll guide you and be that little stream

So go and discover it all
And know that wherever you go
Whatever you do and might feel
The only thing you need to do is call

Life is a festival!

Like Chilly winter and hot summer,
like sweet down and puring rain,
life has so much to celebrate,
In happiness and even in pain.

You don't get everything in life,
but it's fun to miss something,
it's great to see yourself ,
Being someone from nothing.

When you get what you want,
Nothing remains to win,
When you play with your own rules,
life becomes beautiful and clean.

Thousands of colors to pick up from,
thousands of things to dream on,
think about present,
future is yet to come and past is gone.

It's all about the way you look at it,
life can be as dead as skull,
But if you know the real meaning of it,
Life is a festival.....

Swami Mayur's talks on love!

Love......this four letters have been the biggest phenomenon in the history of mankind. There have been lot of views and debates over this topic and the same will continue till the judgment day.

I always think about why people talk so much about a thing that they feel is immensely personal? Why this topic is getting hotter when we are preferring personal life over open one? Why love is becoming a social topic when other things are actually going in reverse way?

No one knows whats love. It might be the combination of thoughts of 6 billion people living on this planet.

I feel love is nothing but just a special connection of two hearts. Love doesn't come alone, It needs companions such as trust, understanding, support, companionship, lust, friendship and a whole lotta things to happen. In short, love is close friendship+lust(I know it's a matter of debate but IN MY OWN WAY I feel so)

I have thousands of as weird ideas as I'm about love. Sometimes I think of unconditional love, sometimes I turn bit practical and think about future and sometimes I don't think of love at all.

We talk a lot about ideal match and stuff. What exactly it is? Can't two really close friends with a strong affection and trust be companions for life? This world is hell confusing...Science is far more simpler than this

Needs, wants , development, demands, growth, GDP ....

"What is development?" I always ask the question to myself looking at the flourishing malls and other so called development signs when I pass by.
The question is bugging me from last many days and I'm not really able to find a justifiable answer to the same.
We often compare India with developed countries and keep talking about how things can be done better here. From last few years we are really experiencing the superficial growth symbols which has touched only 28% of population. We always talk about a great deals of plans to improve infrastructure and quality of life but India has greatly failed to bring smiles on the faces of most, if not all, citizens.
I'm not here to give lecture on farmers and their suicides because I don't have time to keep chewing the gum. My point is why are we happy when our economy is being holed because of virtual happinesses?
We often talk about billion dollar acquisition deals by indian companies, number of Indians in forbes list and many other things which doesn't make sense to our lives but do we really take care to improve the way things are going on? Do we really analyze the long term impacts of this short-lived relationship with virtual development?
I'm sure most of us(I was in the same list a while back) are so much into our comfort zones that we don't think what would be prices of grains when there would be no-one to farm here. Farming, the backbone of Indian economy and the gonna-be hot sector due to population explosion has no-one to look after as everybody is running behind ipods and malls. This is really going to be crucial within next few years when oil supply will go down and basic needs(food, shelter, clothing) would come in forth.
We Indians are so much into 9% GDP growth thing that we are patting our own back and dreaming about our glossy future as a global power. Lots of studies have predicted India as the 2nd biggest economy after China somewhere around 2050. What the hell are we going to do with the crown in 2050? And is it really going to happen with diminishing oil supply and the growing gap between social layers?
It's really easy and feel-good thing to see glossy pictures about red-carpets but the reality is quite harsh. We were evaded and robbed by many and we started off from a scratch just since 1950s. We always wish to be like EU nations which put centuries in development process. We are trying to reduce the social imbalance by the means of reservation but have we ever though of minimizing the economical as well as the skill gap which is still there? What if the next generation of farmers give up farming considering the flashy atmosphere in cities? What if there would be no means to fulfill our basic needs? I'm not an economist nor a anthropologist. It's just that I care about my own future!

Power transition Principle(PTP)

Sometimes I think seriously about some serious matters. Similarly, last week I was thinking about how and where the world was going and I concluded the thoughts with invention(somebody may have done it earlier but I don't know about it!) of Power Transition Principle. Hope it would earn a Ph.D. for me from a reputed University:D LOL
So here we go! The basic idea behind my principle is that the power centre of the world is shifting in a pattern since ages and the shifting pattern is from east to west. I have considered Asia, Europe and Africa and America as the three players playing this game. Let's consider Asia as A, Europe and africa as B and America as C. So logic being the game is A passes the ball to B, B to C, C to A and the cycle moves on.
World's first Organized civilization started off in Asia as Indus Valley civilization(3300 BC). Though there had been many disorganized civilizations before Indus, IVC organized the society with a framework for the first time. Since it was first of it's kind, I consider Asia as the first power center. I will not go into the details of Indus Valley Civilization as it's not the topic of the post.(An article on Wikipedia might help you out in that context http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indus_Valley_Civilization)

As Indus Valley civilization was growing, Egypt took off to a great historic civilization(3050 BC) and hence became the second power center of the world. I won't exactly call shifting of power to this as the world was isolated back then and growth of Egyptian civilization didn't really hurt Indian but Egypt even attracted Indians which I consider is a virtual shift of power and knowledge.
There was not much time gap between these two civilizations but Indian Civilization had gone too far in this 200 years of gap.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Egypt

Here comes America with the invent of Mayas. he Maya civilization is a Mesoamerican civilization, noted for the only known fully developed written language of the pre-Columbian Americas, as well as its spectacular art, monumental architecture, and sophisticated mathematical and astronomical systems.(Wikipedia) As the world was isolated, Mayas didn't make any difference to already developed civilizations in Asia and Africa/ Europe but they were special in their own way and contributed a lot towards development of Americas.(South and North.)

The real power shift started from the second cycle of civilizations when Mughal empire truly conquered a larger part of Asia. Mughal and other Islamic civilizations prospered in this era. This was a true head start to what we really call as globalism (Don't include America).

While Mughal empire was on it's peak in Indian subcontinent, Industrial revolutions started in Europe which resulted in technological, social and commercial developments. The wheel of power again shifted to Europe region from Asia.

Then came the world war II which brought America into the scene. America took the opportunity to lead the world considering the inability of war shaken European nations.
For past 60 years, America had been world's power center especially after the defeat of Soviet Union. America made the world truly globalized by strategically using resources of underdeveloped countries for it's benefits.
In old times, this power center could have lasted for a millennium but gone are the days when people used to travel by bullock carts. The shifts are going to be rapid once in near future and no region can expect to hold the privilege of being powerful for a large chuck of time.

All are witnessing the power shift from America to India and China which is quite complementary to my theory considering the recession in the US and the scenario in the global ground.

I might have missed some important civilizations like the Romans, China etc. but every rule has exception and guess my theory couldn't accomodate them.
I'm an Engineer, not a historian but I have made the effort to present my intuitive study about the power shifts. I hope you would like it. Suggestions and inpus are welcome.
